Event Summary

Registration:  This year registration will be done entirely online, through our Golf Genius event webpage.  Registration will open Friday, June 1st at 9:00 am. The field will be limited to the first 116 players.  Players may register as an individual or as a group of up to four players. Payment via credit card must be made for all players at the time of registration. Mulligans and Raffle Tickets will also be available for purchase with the registration.

*Bald Head Island Club members should call the golf shop directly to register.

Charity:  This year’s charity of benefit is currently under consideration and will be selected by the BHI Club Ladies’ Golf Association.

Format:  Individual Stroke play with Low Gross and Low Net competitions. Players will be flighted according to their current USGA handicap index as of September 15, 2018.

Entry Fee:  The entry fee will be $60 per BHIC Full member; $75 per BHIC Lifestyle and Founding Social member; or $150 per day guest. The entry fee includes green and cart fees, a continental breakfast, lunch at the turn, and after golf hors d’oeuvres as well as ferry and transportation to and from the island.

Schedule of Events:  9:00 am   -  Ferry transportation to the island

                                     10:30 am -  Shotgun start

                                     3:00 pm   -  Awards & hors d’oeuvres

                                     5:30 pm   -  Ferry transportation off the island

5/25/18: Welcome to our Event Portal & Registration page. Once registration opens, a button will be available to the left side of this page to complete your registration. Information needed for each player will be Name, Email, Phone, and GHIN # or Handicap Club. There will also be a 'Request to play with' field to provided desired pairing info.

The 'Players' tab above will allow you to view current registrations.

We hope for another great event this year to benefit another deserving local charity. Our Ladies Golf Association will be announcing the selected charity in the coming weeks.

6/2/18: Once again the response has been outstanding! We have a full capacity event and a few more ready on the waiting list. Please do not be discouraged from adding your entry to the waiting list. This type of overwhelming support is the best way to keep this event going strong and to create the potential for expanding the field. Waiting list entries will still submit payment information, but will not be charged until they move up into the event field. Thank you all again and please stay tuned here for updated event information.

10/5/18: Unfortunately due to Hurricane Florence we have had to cancel the 2018 Ladies' Invitational event. We were able to process refunds of entry fees as of today (Oct 5th). Please allow the merchant 5-10 business days for credits to appear on your statements. As always, thank you for your support of this event and we hope to see you on the island again soon!
